Electroless Nickel Teflon Plating
Electroless Nickel Plating with Teflon (PTFE) is an Electroless Nickel Composite coating containing particles of Teflon evenly dispersed in a Nickel Phosphorus matrix.
Electroless Nickel Teflon composite combines the low friction release properties of PTFE with the functional wear resistant hardness of electroless nickel. Because of the Teflon coatings’ self-lubricating properties it is an ideal surface treatment for components that cannot use conventional lubricants or in Plastic injection molding for product release.
Commercially, they are also known as Niflor or Nimflon coating.
